Description
A second-generation cephalosporin with enhanced beta-lactamase stability.
Displays excellent activity against staphylococcal strains, streptococcal strains
(other than enterococci), N. gonorrhoeae, H.influenza and N. meningitidis.
Also active against certain cephalothin, cefamandole and
gentamicin-resistant bacteria.
Useful as step down therapy of cefuroxime sodium injectable therapy.
